Why Christians Attack Evolution
RE: Why Christians Attack Evolution
I completely understand the "attraction" for want of a better word, to the supernatural. It's not my place to judge that aspect of it. I think what I find irksome is when people of faith try to rebut scientific discussions by using their faith as a strategy.

I think from now on, it's not worth the effort because at the end of it all, a believer's main goal is to witness for his/her faith, and draw people in.

It's been an interesting thread, just the same. But it is starting to resemble a pulpit. :/

You largely disregarded (no, completely disregarded) everything that Popeye's pappy said, simply because you await him to substantiate the first of his claims. Fine, but why have you been off the hook for asserting without evidence that there is a god, and, most recently, that you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? I think you owe us an explanation with some solid evidence to back you up on this.

I am not off the hook. Knowledge claims require evidence and support. I am at work right now. I apologize if this is an inconvenience.

Ok. Would you mind responding to these questions, Disciplus?

Do you believe the earth is 6,000 years old?
Do you believe there was a garden of Eden?
Do you believe Adam and Eve existed, if so, do you think they were created by God or evolved?
Do you believe a snake spoke to Eve?
Do you believe Jesus existed?
If so, do you believe Jesus turned water into wine?
Fed 5,000 people from a loaf of bread?
Resurrected after being crucified?
Do you believe someone can split the sea apart?
Do you believe in a global flood?
Do you believe Noah was 120 years old?
Do you believe Jesus will return someday?

Global flood is not scientifically possible. Not enough water on Earth to do it. If we did have that much water the temperatures on Earth would scald all terrestrial life to death in an instant. Not only that but the atmospheric pressure would be so crushing on terrestrial life that we would just be scalded grease stains on rocks.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
