Holy shit. This is just AWFUL.

We forgive you, of course. Big Grin

Re: your comment about my parents. lol I had a weird upbringing, quasi-coddled, and so I didn't learn much in the way of cooking. I'm 'ok' at it now, but I'd say my dishes are typically healthy, but boring. Cooking unhealthy dishes seems to be easier, than cooking creative dishes that also remain healthy. (I've found) I should buy a healthy cooking cookbook, to get some ideas.

Oh wait, I forgot. That self-loathing and masochism thing.

Well, dammit, just STOP doing that anyway.

Now that I have said that, everybody, you may now continue with your regularly scheduled program.

Actually it's self-infatuation and vanity that makes me want to get an enormous amount of quick calories and protein in my system because I hate having to chew things up and have little appetite.

Maybe because of my poor appetite that has something to do with why I get turned on when women talk about food and eat.

But can I ever forgive MYSELF?

Well, it sounds like in spite of everything you are actually doing okay with cooking. So good job, Deidre.

I'll eat eggs in pretty much any form, but I prefer to make them scrambled or omeletized. Throw some red peppers and chili powder in there, and put some Tabasco on there after its finished cooking and I'll start the day happy.

Yeah, no I'm with you. We can't let a thing like that go. A spanking ought to take care of it. I'll have some time free next week if I can help.

haha thanky Big Grin

Ever hear stories about how women say back in the 50's etc were judged on how well they cook and clean? I would have been an outcast in such a time period.
:p

Guuuuuuuuurl, considering how many people do not know how to prepare any food themselves whatsoever and have every meal at a fast food place, If EVERYONE from now was suddenly transported to the United States in the 50s, like 90% of the population from the world right now would be outcasts.

lol True!

I don't really care to be the world's greatest cook. Thankfully, I have other skills. :p

I dated a guy two years ago who said that he wanted a wife who could cook like his mother. That one ended quick. I think when guys say that, that is just weird.
