Why in hell does anybody need to be sacrificed for forgiveness?

If your neighbor hit your mailbox would you be unable to forgive him unless he either killed and roasted his best pet or was extremely remorseful that you had to torture and kill you own son? What kind of sicko needs blood on his hands?

Again, how can any god fearing people provoke god's wrath when we atheists will do anything to spit in his eye? Please tell me what I can do to surely provoke his imaginary wrath.

In the great tradition of scapegoating, they need a sacrifice to give their beliefs meaning.

If you feel the need to spit in God's eye, then scream "God - I spit in your eye" - and then let out a good one. It might make you feel better or it might not. That probably depends on you.
If that doesn't make you feel better, than scream out some vulgarity. If that still doesn't make you feel better, then scream again - and again - and again - until you're hoarse.
If you feel the same way about Satan, then repeat the process - maybe the next day, when your throat heals.
However, you MIGHT want to do these things when no one else is around, or the people who see you might think that you are crazy.

There are plenty of "crazy" people wandering around as it is. I see a couple every day, from the guy who walks up and down the street swearing and talking to himself, to the one who has to walk into every shop and high five the staff - several times a day.

The most annoying, is the one wearing a little cardboard sign around his neck with the heading, "the bible says" on it who feels the need to step out in front of people an natter at them with his annoying nonsense.

I have no problem in general with street prosletysers, but when they have to try and get in your face with it, I draw the line.

No, His Will was for us to be obedient. We chose this mess. He is already working and has been working towards correcting it.

Babies are babies. They don't make choices and they're incapable of obedience and/or disobedience. Anyone who cannot see their innocence and accept that either there is no god or god is a malevolent monster is a worthless pile of horse manure in my book.

Isn't it very odd that I, a citizen in a secure superpower country, can't provoke god's wrath no matter how many years I deny him and call him every vile disgusting name in my imagination, but a 3 year old Palestinian girl from a devout, god fearing family is in terrible danger of provoking gods wrath to the point of suffering a horribly painful death.

WooHoo some dick headed god you have there DRICH..

Didn't Jesus say, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." I don't think that includes bombing other people.

3 year old girls are now bombing people? How? Riding in their Play-do planes?

Besides, a simple perusal of your god book will find god to be very sensitive to anyone who doesn't honor and fear him, and yet I can't provoke his imaginary wrath no matter what sick vile slur I can toss at his putridness. That's kind of funny isn't it?
Sure sounds like your god's wrath story is no more real than Spongebob's pineapple house.

OK, so it's NOT crazy to talk well about an imaginary god, but it IS crazy to slur an imaginary god???

Or are you admitting that god is imaginary and agree that it is silly to try and provoke an imaginary being?

Seriously? That's the best explanation you can think of for why killing and suffering happens without some kind of intervention? Because I can think of a far simpler one.

Few things here:

- Man is reaping the results of rebelling and not wanting to obey Him.
- God warned that suffering is a result of sin, no surprises here.
- God has intervened, the bigger problem has been solved, the price of sin has been paid for in full!
- God is coming back and will end sin once and for all
- Why the delay? To give sinful man a chance to repent, thus my urging for you to get in the ark
- Why do kids suffer? God gave a grave warning to those who harm children, God instructed us to love our enemies, God told us to care for the poor - if we were obedient no kid would be harmed

I see you're also unwilling to consider my question. Holy christ, look at you, turning out to be an actual human being after all - and right in front of my eyes. I knew you had it in you.

God became flesh and suffered like no man has ever so He understands suffering completely.

So the zero empathy he has for the humans he puts into conditions like that is quite shocking. I guess your god is a sociopath or psychopath, then.

Clearly you have not read your "Holy Works" Rev

Your deity hates humans and want to see them all obliterated from the face of the planet.

And you like this ideology?
