I felt sad for the kids, sure. But I really felt bad for the husband. He got to spend a little time with the cool, witchy New Ager, and I think he was rather attracted to her. Seriously? That's the best explanation you can think of for why killing and suffering happens without some kind of intervention? Because I can think of a far simpler one.

Few things here:

- Man is reaping the results of rebelling and not wanting to obey Him.
- God warned that suffering is a result of sin, no surprises here.
- God has intervened, the bigger problem has been solved, the price of sin has been paid for in full!
- God is coming back and will end sin once and for all
- Why the delay? To give sinful man a chance to repent, thus my urging for you to get in the ark
- Why do kids suffer? God gave a grave warning to those who harm children, God instructed us to love our enemies, God told us to care for the poor - if we were obedient no kid would be harmed

And the apparent origin of "sin" is an all knowing deity who created the universe but put the one forbidden tree in reach of humans and couldn't apparently keep a single snake out

You MIGHT want to learn how to read. I did NOT say that it was crazy to slur anyone. I SAID that people might think that you were crazy if you screamed in public.
If you want to scream vulgarities at a being that you consider to be nonexistent, then be my guest. Like I said. You MIGHT want to do that when no one is around or people will look at you funny.

It would be nice if people read ALL of the posts before they posted accusatory comments. A previous poster sounded very angry and stated that he wanted to "spit in God's eye". I told that person to do just that - and if he STILL wasn't satisfied that he should scream vulgarities at God, as often as he liked - just make sure to do it when people weren't around or people will think that he was crazy.

So, christian, is it possible or not possible for us to provoke the wrath of god? Seemed pretty easy to do during the old testament times, so why is god such a cuckold wimp now that science and recording devices have been invented?
