Has atheistforums.org ever gotten you in trouble with your significant other?

RE: Has atheistforums.org ever gotten you in trouble with your significant other?
Something to note, I was once a member on a site that was mainly for runners and the amount of infidelity was really sad. Lots of married folks hooking up with members from the forum. Then, announcing that their SO's ..."found out."

I left that site because it was just gross. If you don't want to be in a relationship, tell your partner and move on. The Internet has made cheating very easy, if that's your thing.

Wow really? How odd. I don't think I've ever met anyone from an only forum before, then again it's almost always been an international forum so I guess that figures.

Yea, really. On that site, I got to know a guy through pm...thought he was single. Very flirty. Then one day, I found out he was married. I just felt sorry for his wife that she had no clue he was on that site. And he wasn't an isolated story, sadly. Sad

That site had a lot of members so law of large numbers I guess. Lol

Haha, no. I guess I don't really talk with my girlfriend about these forums, other than the fact that she sees that I'm on them fairly frequently. Sometimes maybe I mention a thread or something but I don't really think it would occur to her to monitor what I'm posting on a forum. Also she's not really the jealous or possessive type, if I wanted to I could post something in Area 69. I have more important things to worry about. I guess it helps that I'm not really very flirty online nor is that why I joined this forum.

That's kind of crazy. Slutty cheating runners. Who knew. I agree with you about the relationship thing.

Lol "slutty runners" Big Grin

No site's immune to it, really. I look at it like if you'd be embarrassed for your SO to read what u post, u probably shouldn't be posting it. Or end the relationship. One of the two.

Anyway, sorry to go a bit OT, pickup! :p

After 8 pages basically everything is off topic. Besides slutty forum runners is an amazing topic.

Whenever someone posts something funny or thought provoking I often will read it to my SO, including all the suggestive/funny bits.

AshleyMadison.com activity on the part of my ex ended that relationship six years ago. Gross. It was on the verge of ending, anyway, but gross.
