No. It just makes me crazy. Last time I got drunk, I woke up the next day wanting to be a christian. Now what's crazier than that? What's next--wanting to be an atheist?

Hey now, Jesus turned water into a wine for a reason. No blasphemy here, Lek.

Does the Babble say you really must mean it and change your behavior?

To me, since the Babble says we are sinners and inevitably so and that we're completely inept at achieving salvation on our own, that we must ask Jesus to cut us a special deal to give us something we don't deserve, that says to me pretty clearly that there's no point in even trying to be better.

It's like Sisifus rolling the boulder up the hill only to have it roll back down again. Trying to be without sin is, as the Babble makes clear, something that is completely impossible. If it's completely impossible, why bother trying? If we don't need to bother trying, we don't need to change at all.

This is why conservatives see no irony in being an adulterer and yet also being the self-appointed guardian of the sanctity of marriage. If you point out to any conservatives or Christians that these people are adulterers, they'll shrug and say "So? We're all sinners".

It's not important what we do. That doesn't matter anyway. It's only important to join the club so we can put the whole lot on J.C.'s tab.

Sorry I have never read the babble.

Start. It might help.

Underaged drinking is never an option.

That's a perfectly natural reaction. It's just, as I said, with most people it wears off after a few days Big Grin
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

God says it's not gay if you don't enjoy it. That's a useful loophole to keep in mind.

He said it just a minute ago, weren't you listening? Geez, take this shit seriously man.

He/she also said that it isn't a sin if it's two young hot females.

It's a sin because it's yucky to the average Joe. That's how it got created as a no no in the fictional religious novels. The common hetero is yucked by the thought of man on man action. I can't really blame them, because when I was a teen (for awhile) the only porn I had access to was two men and a woman. It was really distracting trying to focus on the man and the woman, while the other dude was doing the dude, that was doing the woman. I'm all for equality, but I don't sit around thinking on the sex act. Christians seem to do just this.

That's all it comes down to. "I don't like it!"

Well yeah, you're not supposed to. If you did you'd be gay too. And you probably are. Hypocrite. I saw you.

Also, people are afraid of those who are different. In particular, people are afraid that gays constantly want to butt fuck them, and that if they don't abuse them they might be considered gay by association.

Stop using a crusty book to back up your ridiculous homophobia. You don't have to do it, so keep your nose out.

Also, how do you know you don't like it? You tried it then? Ah, gotcha.

Consider, we are all sinners.

Further, we can't help but be sinners. Our best works are as filthy rags. So we may as well not even try.

Salvation is by faith alone. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and always stands ready to forgive. So we can sin all we like and then just pray to our invisible imaginary fr... LORD AND SAVIOR and say "sorry about that" and the slate is continually wiped clean.

Therefore, there's no need for any "ex-gay" ministries or trying to "pray the gay away". Homosexuality is a sin like any other. Sin is inevitable. Sin is something we can do constantly and still attain salvation just with a simple prayer to wipe the slate clean.

The plan for gay Christian then could be:

1. Have lots of hot gay sex.
2. Pray.
3. Have more hot gay sex.
4. Pray.
5. Have even more hot gay sex.
6. Pray.
7. Repeat as much as desired.

No muss. No fuss. No need for self-loathing. No need for trying to change what you are. Just keep praying after you get done with all the intense [Censored for want of being able to post in Area 69] and the passionate [oh damn this needs to be censored] and rubbing your [nope not publishing this either] against his [this censored part goes on for a few sentences] and all that... mmmmmm ...what was I saying again? Blush

Oh yes, I was praying to Lord Jesus to forgive me for calling him an "invisible imaginary friend".

See? It never happened. The slate's been wiped clean.

Praise the sweet name of Jesus!
In the 1950s homosexuals were considered mentally ill.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Yeah, in England they were put in prison. It's chilling to think how little time ago such things were happening.
