Christians aren't homophobic women haters. Yahweh is. It's right in the bible, and they have to do what the bible tells them to do. Don't blame them. Blame their god.

That's what I was thinking. "We aren't homophobic women-haters, our deity is. We just worship him."

It isn't, but it's the root of the problem. I think there are good people out there that would be more progressive if they didn't have that book's values drilled into their heads.
