Dark Matter and the spiritual realm

RE: Dark Matter and the spiritual realm
Physicist here.

Dark matter is composed of weakly interacting massive particles. They are suspected to have influence in expanding our universe because their aggregate interactions affect things on a galactic scale despite their individual weakness.

It is known that neutrinos help alpha radiation progress. It may be discovered that these WIMPs have hitherto unknown affects.

Your wife is an idiot for ascribing huge concepts to current research.

I'll let her know thanks.

God is not a God of explanation. Primarily, he's a God of love (© Father George Coyne). If you're looking for explanations using religion then you're using the wrong tool. For that you need science.

No. It wasn't - she is (or was) exhibiting willful ignorance to back up an ideology - by all means, that is an idiotic thing to do. I simply was calling it out.

A heated discussion ensued that ended with her being less than convinced that I was right.

Help.
What is spirit supposed to be anyway? As a former Christian I always thought it was energy, or something physical that science simply can't detect (please don't laugh) but there doesn't seem to be any reliable definition among religious groups over what the hell it, and/or the realm made up of it, are essentially.

Ah The spirit.
my wife firmly believes that the soul or spirit is entirely seperate from the body, the body being like clothng that can be discarded
She seems to believe it has some physial properties because she has mentoned a spurious experiment where someone measured the body at the point of death and noted wieght difference he attributed to the soul leaving the body.

I think she meant this chap.
