I hate cliches to death!

RE: I hate cliches to death!
I stopped watching the Walking Dead when the script let random characters start acting uncharacteristically stupid or exhibit pointless aggression just to create drama/conflict. This uneven-ness was so blatant in WD after a while.

For example, they never take more than one tiny piece of supply from that abandoned pharmacy, and it's just obvious that the writers do that to force the characters to come back often to create dangerous situations. WD is just not well-written.

Here's a preliminary fix: let the time travel occur because of an accident of nature which is not easily replicable. This doesn't solve time travel paradoxes, but it saves the mechanics of your fictional universe. It is possible to resolve those things to a certain degree if you show an interest in doing so. I just think people in charge can't be arsed to think about these things because they don't care.

And we're meant to sympathize with someone spouting nonsense with no evidence and be frustrated with all the "cynical sceptics who just won't believe". The nonsense spouter just happen to be right this time because it's a film. Fuck that!

What I find even worse is that sometimes, in-universe in these films, it actually is blatantly obvious that there is a ghost monster lizard, but the "skeptic" will ignore the obvious evidence even as the monster lizard is eating people left and right, because that's what skeptics are like in the minds of hollywood writers.

 Clap Clap so true.

One more week and I'm out.........

Girl takes instant dislike to a man who also hates her.
End up in love.

The one famous person who isn't a regular in the show did it.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

The enhance button!

You kids with your computers and your egg boxes - Oskar Werner was baffling Columbo with that in 1974, using no more than his video recorder.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Security camera saw me do the bad thing! Smash camera = delete evidence.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

It's up there with shooting the electronic lock in order to either open or lock doors depending on dramatic necessity

That's a good one. "Stand back!" *bullet hits all the right buttons in sequence*

That's when the players exchange a look. One is slightly shocked or fed up with the maverick antics, and the other shoots a knowing/cocky look.

The face wrestler goes for the pin, but oh noes! The ref is knocked out! Face should have won! Face tries to wake up referee, and heel hits him in the balls just before ref wakes up. Heel wins. Boo!

Rob, are you trying to tell me wrestling isn't real?
Next, you'll be saying that the sacred bible isn't the true word of god!

Sorry in advance for breaking the rules slightly because this video contains so many cliches......

The best bit is when his black sidekick gets killed by the guy on the motorcycle after telling him he's just about to retire.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
