Trump?

RE: Trump?
Trump could never gain the cooperation of congress. Too much of a wild card.

I don't believe that for a minute. That may be his ignore-the-man-behind-the-curtain trick, but he didn't make all that money by being a dummy. There's something else going on. The hand the magician puts out for us to see is never the one we need to focus on. Knowamsane?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

He's a ruthless businessman. I don't think that and belligerent buffoon are mutually exclusive.

Don't forget he went bankrupt a number of times. And he didn't start as a have not. He was well off when he was born, courtesy of his father. Some network, I don't remember which, actually calculated what he himself earned and came up with big fat zero. He's not worse off than he was when he inherited. But he's not better off either.

Any Repub will win the Red States that Romney won but may not pick up the additional States needed to win the election.

There is no way Trump wins Pennsylvania or New York

We shall see.

RE: Trump?
I'm of two minds about Trump.

On the one hand, I want him to keep running. He's a joke he's making the Republican party look ridiculous. I love that he's said that if he doesn't win the GOP nom that he'll run as an independent, largely because I agree with Rachel Maddow in her assessment that such a move would split the republican voting block and almost guarantee a Democrat wins the Presidential election since the GOP base is split between the GOP nom and Trump.

On the other hand, I can see how his lunatic antics can backfire in a big, big way on the Democratic party. If he doesn't win the GOP nom and doesn't follow through with his promise to run as an independent, what we're effectively left with is a GOP nom who now looks resoundingly sane in the wake of Hurricane Trump.
