Why the denial of Paganism?

With me it would be buddism... because some versions don't even believe in gods.

And futhermore, I'd be like massively watered down. Like I'd believe in karma in a ridiculously metaphorical sense of a "past life" being ones own thoughts as they pass claiming that we were a different person every moment. I'd never literally believe the karma bullshit it's fucking destructive. And the same would go for reincarnation, I'd consider my future lives to be merely my future thoughts.

Basically if I ever had to follow a religion I'd water it down so much that I'd not only still be an atheist but all my "religious" and "spiritual" "beliefs" would pretty much just be labels and semantics and what I actually believed wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. Lol.

If I have to pick a religion, I wanna pick it in such a way that it's only nominally a religion. Lol.

Um? Why do you think a group of people who don't believe in any god or gods including the devil, will be alarmed to discover pagans are devil worshipers? Seriously, the devil is just one more myth. And as far as I can tell, whatever pagans do, they do far less harm in the world than Christians, Muslims, Jews, or Hindus. So as deluded religious folk go, pagans are pretty benign.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

There are more than enough lives that die to this practice, and the numbers are probably mind boggling. No doubt, countless hundreds of thousands of places, wide and vast throughout our world. That's got to equal more deaths than 1 every minute, and no doubt it probably does. People practice this in their homes, in workplaces (to mention the most absurd example), in their back yard, countless places. The number of victims is literally astounding. All male victims dying deaths where they are "taken to the devil", countless victims that are females surviving tortured or beaten, but with their lives.

An example of Christian love, forbearance and mercy:

An example of vicious, murdering, blood-crazed pagans:

Don't get me wrong - I'm no especial fan of pagans or of paganism, but I'll take a harmless loony over a dangerous one any day.

I stopped reading after that idiotic line, because it was automatically guaranteed what was to follow was even more idiotic.

Why don't you quit talking in circles and cut to the chase, Shirley?

"You're an atheist if you descended from one of the four Sons of God (the Fallen variety), who passed as playwrights that observed and promoted pagan Naturalism. It's got nothing to do with what you believe or don't believe, silly atheists. Rejecting God is in your blood...The will of the Fallen manifested through Atheism."

There. Done.
Was that so hard? Now we can to the good part, JBK. All about you. As a self-proclaimed Son of God, you probably believe you come from much higher stock. Top shelf, without a doubt. Perhaps as high as the best, most favored, and fanciest archangel in all of Heaven? You're name proves it, yes?

Now finish, please.
You know there's more to your crazy-assed claim, so hop to it!

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
