Fuck you.

Boru

You apologize! Angry

It's good to see your country won't tolerate the sort of "relativism" common in most of Europe. The Irish are not like those decadent,wishy-washy French and Germans. They are still a salt of the earth folk with moral standards!

I don't know who that unmarried, un-Christian mother thought she was enrolling her unbaptised chidl in a Catholic school.

You'd think she would have wised up by now and gotten her child baptized (For a small fee fo course Wink .) Some people can be so selfish and uncaring about their kids future. If she just baptised him her child would not be suffering so Undecided

Some people just weren't meant to be moms I guess. Perhaps joining religious life would have been up that womans ally..

For what?  Fuck you.

My country is New Zealand.  Fuck you.

I'm now using my phenomenal psychic powers to predict that you will be murdered by either a Frenchman or a German.  With luck, it'll be both.  Fuck you.

The Irish are indeed people with moral standards, or would be if your pestilential church would leave them alone.  See what Catholicism has wrought in Ireland:

Your kindness and compassion are truly underwhelming. Fuck you.

Awful of her to both want her child to be free of the mental and emotional fetters imposed by the RCC and for her child to have an education, innit?  Fuck you.

Good point.  If she had baptized her child, the wee tot would now be knowing the joys of being buggered by a priest. Fuck you.

And some people clearly weren't meant to be thoughtful, caring, compassion human beings, were you?

Fuck you.  Fuck you and everyone who looks or thinks like you.  Fuck you up your arse with a big rubber dildo coated with broken glass.  And when you cry out to Jesus to save you...fuck him as well.

The men in dresses probably thought that about gay marriage, too.  They are being overwhelmed by a tide of secularism.  Good.  Fuck the church.

You've got to remember we're a country with a severe case of inertia, for example it wasn't until 1974 (if I remember my first year legal system of Ireland course correctly, but it definitely was the seventies) before a woman stopped being the unwasting chattel (ie the thing) of her husband, it wasn't until 1991 before the mere fact of being gay was legalised and marital rape criminalised, 1994 before divorce became a fact (and is still extremely stringent in application), where abortion is still illegal with a possible penalty of 14 years (except in an extremely narrow set of circumstances). We've a tree stump as our head of government and a leprechaun as our head of state for feck's sake.

OK, so what is it with the Irish?

Why can't they speak English?  Fianna Fail sounds like the name of a porn star.

Are you not reading my election thread? For shame! Oh, and the Soldiers of Destiny is not a pornstar name.

And, of course, atheism is growing by leaps and bounds in Ireland.
Here is an article from 2012 . . . I bet the atheist numbers are higher now.

Despite what the census said (what use is a question on religion designed to give bias to 'catholic' as an answer, on a census where the mammies of Ireland routinely fill out the form on behalf of their children who haven't lived in the house any day of the five years since the last census?) open atheism in Ireland is sitting at about 10%, and if you acknowledge the catlicks too lazy to examine their lack of belief, actual atheism is probably far higher.

Congrats TC. I count approximately 20 posts (21 if you count mine) that you tricked people into responding with this tread. Bravo.

Do you think that you will ever tire of this game?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
