Complete and utter moronic garbage. How can such a stupid decision be reached?

How do they ever imagine this will be enforced? Have these pissweasels stopped to think for a minute about that? They never noticed trans people using bathrooms before, what makes them think they will now? What is the procedure? "He/she doesn't look legit, I'm gonna pull down their pants and check"? Are they themselves willing to submit to "nob out" procedures if someone calls them out?

Rob, it's not about the enforcement at all. It's an election year. A lot of these asshats are up for re-election in November, and they are cashing in on the carefully cultivated culture of loss ("we need to take America back"), persecution (War on Easter, War on Christians, War on Faith, War on Christmas), and fear (ISIS is recruiting your children! We need more guns to protect ourselves from guns! What's going to be waiting for your wife and daughter in the bathroom?)

Nothing motivates the base more than propaganda-ing them into a frenzy with this stuff, and these politicians are cashing in. Problem is, it's the same thing that is tearing them apart from within. This thing they've cultivated grew out of their control, and the result is Donald Trump.

Expect it to lead to more harassment of cisgendered women using toilets who don't look womanly enough. It's a step back towards the 50's.

No, but there's a really good chance it's going to run afoul of some federal civil rights laws. The courts will undoubtedly have to decide the manner.

It's also worth pointing out what going to jail for a pre-op transsexual means in Alabama.

It won't be a woman's jail, it will be a man's jail. So either the transsexual will have to spend their entire time in solitary confinement or will be at of risk rape on a daily basis.

I have a very simple question, has it been proven beyond doubt that transexuals identifying as the opposite sex than the one they were at birth actually have the brains of the opposite sex?

If that is the case, scientifically, then I would have to accept that it's normal, and not simply a delusion, for some individuals to identify as the opposite sex. But I would have to know first that a man actually has a similar brain to a woman, if said man chooses to identify as a woman, for example.

I am ignorant on the subject(concerning brain differences between men and women), I'm very ready to admit that. Do correct my ignorance if you can, anyone. Much appreciated.
