Hey listen, if you have to go to christian school it doesn't mean that you can't have fun insulting those assholes there. Plenty of people were thrown out of these places for asking questions and spreading atheism, like Penn Jillette, Michael Moore, Dan Aykroyd... Every time they start to speak about religious shit you debunk it and they'll kick you out in no time. For instance Dan Aykroyd took a pig and dressed it as a Pope. I mean it'll be so easy, just read some atheism book to arm yourself with knowledge and enjoy watching them suffer because they are such easy targets that I almost envy you.

One more thought, Soc . . . hopefully without coming across as a old-fogie auntie, if I do, please forgive.  But one more thing to remember is: if your parents are true fundies, then they think that what they are doing by forcing you to go to church is the highest possible expression of their love for you.  They believe that you will thank them when you are a happily married member of their church, with kids of your own.  They believe that they are not only saving your soul from hell, but they are saving you from a terrible life - they think that without god, all life is meaningless and worthless.
    Yes, I know it's horrible brainwashing, but there is nothing you can do about it.  Arguing will only make them dig in their heels.  Logic is threatening, and be careful with the bible questions . . . if they believe it's the perfect word of god, questioning it can make them angry.
    I know. I lived through it. Hang in there, be true to yourself, and be careful.

Life rarely goes according to plan. For most people it starts off cushty and gets gradually worse. You can see this in a lot of adults who think that the absolute worst has happened to them when someone else who has experienced real trauma wishes that it was all they had to deal with.

As the saying goes, life's a bitch and then you die.

It all depends on how you react when something goes wrong. You can either try swimming upstream or go with the flow and make the best of a bad situation. Trials make us stronger. Everything in life is a learning experience even if it's not a lesson you particularly want to learn. Learning to cope with this will give you skills that will help you later in life. Whether it's learning to spot bullshit, learning to subtly plant seeds in people's minds, acting interested, or just coping with the incessant boredom of a dead end job.

People have this idea that rebellion is all out confrontation against authority figures. It can be so much more than that. You don't have to sell out or not be true to yourself (unlike a lot of people here in a much worse situation than you), but this is something that you will learn from whether you like it or not. What you learn is up to you.

Respectfully allow your parents to have their way for the next two years or so.
Remember that they have strongly held beliefs and in their minds are doing the right thing.
After that you have the rest of your life to do as you wish.
And even then don't do it "in your face" kind of way.

I'm not completely unsympathetic really I'm not. But just suck it up and go to church. It's boring and you don't like it but it doesn't hurt you. Your parents have all the power and you have none. It's not a good idea to piss them off. Just give them what they want and enjoy your cushy childhood while it lasts.
