How far does your open-mindness go?

So I decided to ask you what does your open mind accept and what it doesn't?

The reason for asking is the latest spam in one of my e-mails - porn with women eating men's shit. Needless to say I almost sent my dinner back to the table.

Porn with people eating shit doesn't even register on my scale of disgust. If someone thinks it's fun, who am I to judge...
The world news, on the other hand....

After all, people eat in Burger King every day.

I'll listen to any argument, or view any evidence, on any subject. I'll consider whether it changes any of my opinions on that subject. I don't consider anything set in stone.

Wow. I had to look that up on UD. I admit, I have been one.

I don't know how far mine goes. I figure it's probably good I can't be the world's police officer. I'd probably use the oppurtunity to be a real Judgy Judgementalson. But in reality, there's so much I don't understand.

There's even a word for that in German: "Caviar" and "Natural Sparkling Wine" for #1. I'm not sure if these terms exists in english.

How the fuck does being open minded relate with having sex with children and animals? If someone likes eating shit on the other hand, which according to me is disgusting, I won't judge em' because that's what they like and it doesn't harm me nor anyone else.

Until someone is either being hurt or being made to do something against their will, I don't really care

Yup... When I was in the US, the frat boys wouldn't shut up about the German "Scheisse Filme". Well, better than Nazis...

I don't look at myself as either open-minded or not. My views are mainly driven by, and change in accordance with, strong empirical evidence ... and if not that, then really persuasive rational arguments. I don't just change my views based on whatever.
