that is the reason why we have the NPT. Neo  cons want a war but all i am saying is if neo cons push a war against another nuclear capable
nation such as Russia the results won't be good for anyone.

Why is it only the neocons? (I'm assuming you mean only the US)

Only the US remember they were saying that Russia interfered with the election and the media and everywhere called it pretty much a declaration of war
for "messing" with the  election. In reality the US has interfered with other countries elections for political and monetary gain for some time. And the thing is
the media and everywhere else said Wikileaks was tied to Russia when they aren't. The media only wants to drag us into war with Russia and  no on else really
that is the reason why i said it's a bad idea to start a war. If probable war did happen its bad for both countries we would 1. we have nukes 2. the loss of human life
would be to great 3. the world would be at risk 4. our military is already over stretched in too many conflicts as it is going into a another war is stupid 5. the UN already is mad at us we would be look like the bad guys in the end and we already do because of Syria.

NP, it's kind of amusing stuff.  The russian government has an issue.  Corruption, grift.  Attendant to that grift is a manner of securing it away from agencies of russian state that might be able to access or confiscate it.  Capital flight.  Real estate has become a popular tool for illegal capital flight from actors within the russian state and close to putin.  Publicly, the russian state has spoken out against this and even taken action to combat both capital and actual flight (ie..russian officials and/or oligarchs sending their kids -and- money to the US).  However, due to the level of corruption, and those we know or suspect to be involved....it seems that any action is more or less a means of throwing low level particpants and rivals under the bus as flak.

It's easy to see why this happens.  If you can shelter ill-gotten gains in foreign real estate, that the real estate might end up showing a loss is written off as the price of the other, more important but silent service.  Laundering those gains.  It's a bonus when they make money, ofc...because the whole chunk goes to the cleaners when the transaction is made.

When a heaping wad of russian money finds it's way into a high profile new york real estate developers hands...you can bet that a nice chunk of it is illicit, either from the pov of the russian state, or the us.  The Donald cut his teeth (or got stooged through it by smoother operators) on this sort of scam with his "casino" - more accurately a warehouse full of convenient money laundering devices(lol).  His wealth (and his legal status) are both implicated and endangered by this relationship.  That was -before- he was president.  Now that he is, in what is just about a gift from the gods of realpolitik...is that the russian state could, at any time it wanted to throw someone under the bus..implicate the president of the united states as being involved in their corruption and capital flight scandal.

In a sane america, that would be more propoganda than truth...but this is trumps america now.......... Dodgy

Russia's money is mostly tied up in London and Monaco at the moment. But apart from that your analysis is spot on.

Hard to argue with that assessment.

Yep.  He's got bigger fire works and is every bit as much a fragile, failed human being as the hereditary dictator of North Korea.

Tough titties, Putey.  The best laid plans of mice and men usually work out about the same.

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/putin-li...documents/

Quote:A Russian government think tank controlled by Vladimir Putin developed a plan to swing the 2016 U.S. presidential election to Donald Trump and undermine voters’ faith in the American electoral system, three current and four former U.S. officials told Reuters.
They described two confidential documents from the think tank as providing the framework and rationale for what U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded was an intensive effort by Russia to interfere with the Nov. 8 election. U.S. intelligence officials acquired the documents, which were prepared by the Moscow-based Russian Institute for Strategic Studies [https://en.riss.ru/], after the election.
The institute is run by retired senior Russian foreign intelligence officials appointed by Putin’s office.
