I stay off Facebook and social media for a few days after a big tragedy (which is every few months it seems). Clicking "share" on a "pray for x" meme doesn't do a darn bit of good.

Or how about people who type out long screeds on social media about whatever side they're on but, for some reason, they can't get their fingers to email or call their Congressional representative or they can't get their ass to the polls to vote.

The only reason I am on facebook is for messenger. Just an option for one on one communication.
