Belief
I'm not sure where this is coming form but here I go;

The point of believing is not being convinced the creator exists.

Believing, if I may say what I think, is doing what the creator finds meaningful.

Believing is a verb, it's about what you do here, the good fruits
not an endless debate with trolls claiming the creator does not exist
and trying to convince them when they do not want any answers.

Perhaps that's what is written, don't throw your pearls before swine for they will trample them.

Believing Jesus rose from the dead is confessing Jesus is Lord
and doing the will of the creator.

RE: Belief
If you aren't convinced, then you don't believe.  I can think of alot of meaningful things that just aren't happening.

Believing that jesus rose from the dead probably isn't a straight equivalence to confessing (or believing) that jesus is lord......but it's not as if it matters whether a person believes that, or indeed confesses that christ is lord......since it never happened.

For my own part, it doesn't actually matter to me whether or not a jew-on-a-stick rose from the dead...that's not enough for me to sign on as a christian. Christianity is abhorrent even if it were a true miracle story. Think about it, what if any pagan god actually did reanimate a corpse, as so many stories lay claim to....would you trip all over yourself to leave jesusism and join their stupid religions? Probably not...huh?

RE: Belief
I’ve yet to be convinced by anyone that I should care about any creator, its wishes or what it finds meaningful. Whether there is such a creator is therefor not important to me.

We've all got mothers and fathers..after all...we don't agree with every silly thing they say on simple account of them giving birth to us.

Catharsis...you entire strategy for fishing souls is fundamentally garbage, lol. Even -you- wouldn't bow down on account of it.

Logic and sound reason indicate a creator. Hehe

Sure.......if you say so......?

Still, it's not as if that would matter. If logic and reason actually did indicate a creator, who cares? Logic and reason indicate that I had a mother and a father, ad I love em.......but I'm still not cosigning their every errant thought.

Work it through. Some asshole made us. Does that make the asshole right in other areas..unrelated to making us? No more so than it would for our mothers and fathers.

Did they even have to be right about anything to make us? No. Just bump uglies.

I'll repeat...your strategy for fishing souls is fundamentally garbage, lol.

-and what are you still doing here, anyway? I thought you were leaving? Why don;t you leave? That's one of the better ideas your addled brain has ever arrived upon.

Is there anyway that you can say that in a way that makes sense.

Some thinking might help.
