*Big Bang Theory: Evolution of Our Universe - Universe Today

You do understand that our current model of the big bang doesn't posit a creation of matter, just the expansion of the vast majority (there are spontaneously created particles) of it from an infinitely dense singularity to the state it's in* today.

*And look at the absolute state of it! Shocking
Philosophical statement - If anything now exists, then something must be eternal or if not eternal then what exists came out of nothing.
Atheist Credo: An universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

Philosophical statement - It isn't necessary to have relatives in Kansas City in order to be unhappy.

And what does your meaningless string of words prove? Well aside from ghe fact that you have trouble understanding anything.

I think this is the best form of “argument” that can be brought up here. Make fun of the post.  Sure, it ignores the point being made, but at least it’s mildly humorous and not mean like other responses. <cough>GUBU</cough>

Frankly, snowtracks is right. Everything has to come from something. If there is a thing that doesn’t come from something else, then that thing must be eternal (meaning that it, um, doesn’t come from, um, something else.) [trying to channel the great Bob Newhart there]

Mocking and abuse don’t really get around that. They just take the conversation back to junior high.

Well, first of all, snowtracks isn't necessarily right. But more than that you need to understand the history here. Snowtracks is a regular who occasionally stops by to shitpost and then leave again. He's not here to discuss, and he's not bright enough for a meaningful discussion even if he was. While mocking may not be appropriate in the general case, you ignore that there are exceptions to the rule.

Btw, that's not what eternal means.

My reply doesn’t ’ignore the point being made’ (because snow isn’t making a point, merely regurgitating an unsubstantiated claim), nor is it abusive.

I do, however, happily admit to the charge of mockery.

I agree with Tracks.  Gods either came from nothing, or gods came from something that was eternal.

Philosophical Statement™. Gods arise from nature, which is eternal.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
