PP Rant- Christians, Stop Spreading LIES

Looking at the claims I see the PP President Cecile Richards state unequivocally that PP do do mamograms, yet the PP website says what the objectors state : "If you have questions or concerns about breast cancer, we are here to help. A staff member at your local Planned Parenthood health center can discuss breast cancer, breast exams, and breast health with you and help you find the services you need." ...that is, they don't offer the service themselves.

Can you show us proof of which is true al?

Not all PP locations are equipped with proper machines to do mammograms due to lack of funding, however, those locations work with other facilities whom donate the use of those machines to PP. If a mammogram machine isn't available on site, we provide transportation to those facilities, and in most cases waive payments for those services.

As far as Loura..keep up your good work. Of course it is hard. i worked at a cemetary as a grave digger before, and can only imagine what you have to go through on a day to day basis.

At least grave diggers do not have to fear for their own lives.

I guess the issue is that the organisation makes a political point out of abortion, that some would object to, and then justifies their position by citing their provision of other health care services.

I liked what Gwen Moore had to say. Seems like you guys are in the dark ages with your basic human provision. Over here in the UK that stuff is taken care of by the state (whole uk government). Sure we endeavour to emulate your freedoms in capitalism. That's not good.

Most women can easily get mammograms done at their own health care provider anyway can't they.

So what difference does it make? PP is still offering many many other undisputed services and thus, al's point is held up ... Her only point was that abortions are not the only thing they do there. Point made.

Did you bother to read aleialoura's point, too? Some of their clinics perform them, some get people to them, all covered if the women qualify. By the by, NHS ain't the bee's knees, by any stretch of the imagination.

A further aside: What the fuck difference does it make if they do abortions in addition to all the other things they do? Abortion is still legally available in the UK, too.
