Not really. No one is saying that you can't believe what you believe. It's just that in our society, your beliefs don't give you free reign to deny others their rights. Your rights end where mine begin. That's the way it's always been. Can't handle it? Either don't own a business, vote for people who will work to change the law, or leave. It's really that simple. America has historically been a land of oppression and even attempted genocide where it comes to certain classes of people including different races and sexual persuasions.

America has come to accept this fact and to try to prevent future outrages has made laws that mean that the oppressed can have some semblance of a normal life without living in fear and shame.

What you want to do is keep oppressing as if society has not moved on, but it has and are yelling in impotent fury because your rights no longer come first, you can hate gays as much as you like.
