I'm a fan of light BDSM. I have a kit with two adjustable straps and four neoprene love cuffs with velcro fasteners. They are comfy and easy to release in the event of a freakout. I have very fond memories that I can't share because they are vile pornography. I am definitly a strong dom and have been told that I must be willing to submit if I want to engage in BDSM or it is "unfair". I strongly dissagree with that statement because, hey, I likes what I likes!

Never once when experimenting in any of this have I ever wanted to be a dom - which I should think might be considered "unfair" since they're the ones doing all the damn work. If I don't want to swing a whip, I don't see why someone else "must" give me a turn. You're agreeing to a certain role when you engage in this sort of play...if you don't like to play that role, you're not going to do it effectively. And if you're not giving 110%, or not comfortable...what the hell's the point? Just my opinion, anyway. I am extremely vanilla when it comes to sex, BDSM is definitely not my cup of tea.

Personally, I don't like having so much as an awkward position cramp during sex. Pain is not pleasure for me. I can be a little domineering, but not in a painful way. It's more of a "stay still while I do this" kind of thing. |
