Never once when experimenting in any of this have I ever wanted to be a dom - which I should think might be considered "unfair" since they're the ones doing all the damn work. If I don't want to swing a whip, I don't see why someone else "must" give me a turn.

You're agreeing to a certain role when you engage in this sort of play...if you don't like to play that role, you're not going to do it effectively. And if you're not giving 110%, or not comfortable...what the hell's the point? Just my opinion, anyway.

A thousand kudos to you, sir. Personally, I don't like having so much as an awkward position cramp during sex. Pain is not pleasure for me. I can be a little domineering, but not in a painful way. It's more of a "stay still while I do this" kind of thing.
