Yes, that's him.

There are some photos of him that I think are really nice but most are average and many are just very very not attractive.

He is honestly just an average guy, though quite smart in many respects.

He's kind of crazy, though, in how he allows his "spiritualism" to override his reason.

Well, from what I understand of dreads, he goes that usual route. But he's not modeling any more. He had a life changing experience, he had cancer, and now he's regrowing his hair and all that stuff.
