Yes, but that is expected with the liberals and given the position of many, many Canadians I think that the pandering will stop. And I actually like his economic plan, its classic Keynesian economics of spending in a time of recession to increase growth, plus our infrastructure out east is rusting to shit.

I agree about the situation out east.

And just a few years back I heard so many Americans talking about coming to Canada,
if Dubya got a second term;

and then when Obama got his second term,
GOP from all 50 States filed petitions for secession!!

personally, I think Trudeau got his Majority government NOT because he is so popular,
but because HARPER wasn't....and people were voting strategically.

That's why I'm against strategic voting.  It is a perversion of the system.

Everyone should just vote for whom they feel is the best candidate.  Period.

Then you at least have a clearer idea of how people really feel about the candidate's position,
and the candidates have a better idea of what people expect from them.
