My favorite was the time when my dad had just gotten out of the shower, getting ready to go to work, and I heard the gates of hell open directly out of my dad's mouth, while my mom cackled, "April Fool's!" at the top of her lungs. Turned out: she had sewed shut the leg openings of every pair of underwear he owned.

Hmm. No, I also neglected to mention that every other aspect of your story was also not applicable to me.  Except the changing into underwear quickly part.
