Delicate Offers a Truce
RE: Delicate Offers a Truce
Please enlighten me. I would be thrilled to learn more about how I'm feeling.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

For that I apologize. I just got back home from a pub crawl.

Can you link me to the thread?

When atheists can't think volume 1 was the thread where you said you didn't agree with the definition of atheism

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

You're so put off at the idea of being ridiculed and stumped, that you won't acknowledge that you're a Roman Catholic, or even present what you consider to be evidence of the God you worship and love.

If your God is real, there's no way He's pleased with you.
I appreciate the psychoanalysis.

But you've never engaged me in a sincere discussion of what I believe.

Suffice to say, the uncharitable interpretations you've subjected me to don't exactly encourage.

I actually wish the religions of Abraham, all three were cowards. It's the bravery killing in the name of a deity why the world cant have more peace, because all three are brave in defending old books.

That's certainly not all you're unhappy about.

Prime example of why no one in their right minds bought your truce bullshit for a minute.

Goddamnit you're a fucking swine.

To reiterate an earlier exchange, I would endorse a name change for him. Delicacy isn't exactly his strong suit.

Maybe it means "Delicacy" as in eating calamari or monkey brains?

Delicate, I'm hoping you're sincere, but with all due respect, you have shown a willingness to play coy and outright manipulate, in addition to the disrespect.

It's going to take a while before we believe you're not just playing some new game. That said, I hope everyone gives you the chance to demonstrate you're not the awful person we've been seeing this far.

I look forward to the NuDel.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
