No, i reckon it was primitive humans.
I was giving that under the assumption that you are a bible believing christian, and how god says its okay to own foriegners as property in the bible. Since you are not, my claim that "god says its okay to own slaves" doesnt apply to you since you, like me, dont trust the source its coming from.

It would be nice if you guys stop saying..........GOD SAID THIS GOD SAID THAT ....and instead say
........RELIGIONS SAY THIS.....RELIGIONS SAY THAT.

Im a bit confused... Arent you a Christian? Religon is defined as belief in a god or gods. You know Christianity is a religion, right?

Nah, he's some weird yoga thing roughly based on Hindu and reincarnation stuff. He says he's not religious, but he is.

it would be wise if you stick with what you best know and be very careful not to judge
what you do not know like spirituality toward religion.

Or you know and you express your judgment or you do not know       and in this case the best
thing to do is wait to judge until you develop some knowledge on the issue.

Let us clear your confusion.
By the way most people here are confused about this topic so don't worry too much about it.

People don't have to follow a religion to have the believe that God exist.
And people do not have to follow spirituality to have the believe that God exist.
People don't even have to follow anything at all to have the believe that God exist.
Some people believe in God because they reckon that make sense that somebody created
and run the universe.
I personally believe in God because the more i expand my consciousness the more i feel
God within but let us come to the differences between spirituality and religions.

Spirituality always come first religions unfortunately vandalize the original meaning and follow
but smart people do not fall in the trap and stick with the original.
Jesus, Buddha, Shiva, Krishna introduced spirituality.
The clergy that later follow turned this pure spirituality into dogma or false truth.
They invented the hell in order to put fear in people mind so to control them and the also invented
a myriad of other false so called truth.

Spirituality is all about reducing the distance that separate you from God and the best way is to
practice yoga.
Once this separation doesn't exist anymore you merge into the ocean of cosmic consciousness.
Like a drop of water that end up in the ocean become the ocean also you by ending up in the
ocean of cosmic consciousness merge and become God.
You just realize that you always were God in the first place.
