My point is that all this started decades ago. I really believe the GOP has been bitter since Nixon got caught and since that old white money has made politics a gang rather than governing. I also think his rise is decades of Morton Downy Jr, Jerry Springer "Real World" WWE mind rot crap. Add to that fucks news fear mongering which was going on long before even Obama ran the first time.
I am talking about a very dangerous tone in politics that neither party should employ, but only one party has been responsible for allowing to get to this point.
Just yesterday a Trump supporter shouted "execute her". That is the type of shit you see in North Korea and supporters of Hitler.
We're on the same page. I know this started decades ago. I've railed on that very point time and again on these forums. But I think a Clinton win will usher in a period in which the rhetoric becomes even more heated than it has been to this point, and the political discourse will coarsen even more. Hell, I'm not even talking exclusively about 'tone'. I think we could be headed to a place in which blood is shed -- not a revolution or anything that dramatic, but seemingly random acts of self-appointed 'saviors' attacking their enemies for the alleged greater good. The Right in this country has more perceived enemies than you can shake a stick at. Meanwhile, they keep losing. It's only a matter of time. A frightened, wounded animal nearing its death throes is likely to lash out violently at the very people who are trying to help.
I fear more Trump starting WW3 if he won. But if Hillary wins yes, you can expect to see the rise of christian terrorism which is ironic considering how much the right screams about Islam. But his tone long term is dangerous even nationally. You cant have that tone and long term protected the idea of political pluralism or peaceful transfer of power.

lol Ok. We'll see in a few days.
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.
Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

The math isn't there for him. Take your pick. This is the hidden damage he has caused and his post loss autopsy will bear this out. Whatever gains he made in his base, he has caused far too much damage with especially women. It will NOT be as close as the GOP wants it to be. Again, the same "we have a shot" bullshit was said about McCain and Romney and those were not close. Hillary will win, the only issue is by how much in the electoral college and popular vote, but she will win
both.

A sufficient amount of people not bothering to move their asses the voting booth. That's how. Radicals do vote at a larger percentage than moderates. And if the moderates are presented with an undesired choice, the chances of Trump winning are very real.
No, this will not be the case and it will not be FLA 2000. While individual polls vary when you check the aggregate sites they all point to a Clinton win. The only dark horse in all this I can see increasing her margin are the female vote. Even when you only look at the maps that have her just below 270 that still leaves her with just having to win a couple toss ups. Trump can win FLA and Ohio and NC and would still lose.
I think if dems start thinking every day long term instead of only focusing on presidential elections, we do see a trend of more traditionally red states turning purple. Texas is not as deeply red as it used to be and Georgia also.
But still, everyone sane who accepts Trump as being unfit and dangerous regardless needs to get out and vote.

We already know he's going to proclaim it's rigged when he loses and whip his base into a fervor.

Maybe after he lost everyone will simply lose interest in him because noone likes a loser, and he'll be all but forgotten within a few weeks?

I doubt he will be forgotten. He started something that made the vermin crawl out from under the rocks. That won't go away anytime soon. It's the same in Europe, by the way.

Well, you look at what put that asshole where he is, it has been decades of successful ground game by the GOP. Not talking about presidential elections, but midterms state congresses and governorships. That party unleashed a monster but they built him too. I'd still worry about the same fear mongering GOP and the way they screamed murder after Obama won even before he took his oath.

I remember seeing Palin on TV years after her and McCain lost the election. They never just go away, unfortunately. When Trump loses we're going to hear all about how the election was rigged, voter fraud, bribes, etc., I'm sure. And that will just be the beginning.

After psychopaths like Palin and Bachmann were let into the fold it opened the door for fellow crazies like Trump. Back in 2008 people were talking about how Republicans needed to reorganize their party, however these freaks are the ones they want to represent them.
