I have a science degree, too. I made it myself with InDesign and printed it out on some very nice, thick paper. I framed it and hung it up above my toilet. Sound familiar?

Lol, when someone says they have a science degree without clarifying what that degree is, you know they have a B.S. in English from a technical college.

Saying you have a "science degree" is pretty telling. I have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, but I won't pretend that this makes me some sort of expert in cell biology or genetics. Some colleges (USNA being one of them) only deliver Bachelor's of Science. So you can get a science degree in History from a really good school. Doesn't mean you are qualified to talk about biology with any gravitas. Especially when you can't even be bothered to get basic definitions correct.

Same here.  I don't do religious faith; I need something more tangible before I can accept that something is real or even plausible.  If Pulse's god ever does show up here, I'll ask him to drop by your place as well.

The thing is, Pulse is "devolving" into scientific minutia in very specific areas where science does not have the complete answer YET. Somebody else tried gravity. It's all "god of the gaps" and an act of the desperate. 

If god was a real thing they would not have to resort to these tactics. god would demonstrate itself for all to see. Unfortunately for them, god is a fantasy, and this is what they need to keep the fantasy delusion alive for them.  

Will the god of the gaps position ever end, probably not. Theists will just move on to the next unexplained phenomena and say "see, no explanation other than supernatural, therefore god". 

Remember a time when disease used to be caused by god? If I'm not mistaken I think the theists have moved on from that one. Wait, is god still causing AIDS?
