What this tells me is that there is a core consistency in America that would vote for a Republican candidate for President even if that person was dead.

If Trump stays healthy and runs in 2020 and wins (which he will) what will his critics say and do?

I promise not to eat at McDonald's during his entire second term, if there is one.

He's welcome to resign.
Of course, he already knows this, making that a truly questionable statement.

That's great, he agrees with us. Now let's see if he, and we, are actually right.
Boy what a buzz kill. You're right of course but .. you know .. it was feeling pretty good.

Democrats could literally send out Jesus Christ, and Republicans wouldn't vote for him.. Too socialist, too peaceful, too "preachy", and just another social justice warrior.

Frontline on PBS did a documentary on the difference between Trump and Clinton's early lives growing up. No polite way to put it. Trump's dad verbally abused him, if not physically as well. Trump's dad bullied him and hated failure, taught him to be hyper competitive wanted him to be a "killer". Trump literally was raised not to care whom he hurt to be on top.
Yes, fixed it, thank you! No idea who "Howard Stein" is! (Perhaps "Ben Stein" was crossing my mind at the time.)

I would say that it is a sure bet that the House will flip back to Democratic control in 2018, but then again, I thought that it was a "sure bet" that the first US woman President would be in the White House right now!
I have ADD and rush myself to submit. That is more excusable when you are not getting paid, but I damned sure would delegate what I am not good at if I were in a position of running something requiring in need of precise language. I know in college you could misspell in your raw papers, but you'd get an F if you submit them in your finals. I cannot believe we have such a president and cabinet whom not only lies about everything, but cant spell and don't care one fuck about facts.

Trump relates to white trash and to the rust belt, the home of coal mining and high-end manufacturing, most of whom read and write around the 6th grade. Given the fact that The Donald writes at the 4th-grade level, his appeal is even stronger! ("Finally, a President who is dumber than me!") Blacks stayed home because it was difficult for them to vote and all the polls showed an easy Clinton victory, and so, they didn't bother. Married white trash women were envious of Clinton, and so, even with P-gate, they had no problems voting for her, and besides, they wanted to please their white trash husbands. But, they were ashamed to admit to the pollsters that they were going to do so, skewing the polls. The Greens, being scientific, also wanted to send Clinton a message that the Left Wing was very much alive and well, even while assuming that Clinton would coast to an easy victory. Finally, Clinton herself was arrogant to the point of assuming that she would win and tried to "grease" the outcome by targeting states that the polls showed as being "competitive". As such, she never even set foot in Wisconsin, and in ignoring that and Michigan, she sowed the seeds of her own defeat. She should have know better; certainly, Bill should have, also, but they wanted more than a victory, but a mandate. In the end, they ended-up with neither.

Wow, that's a lot of stereotyping for one post, Jehanne.
