Things You Don't Like About Other Countries ( America Gets Immunity)

RE: Things You Don't Like About Other Countries ( America Gets Immunity)
Well, it depends on what you're drinking. Ales and all that should be served at room temperature IMO, meanwhile lager should be served cold. There's nothing wrong with cold ales though, it's just a preference I suppose.

The majority of pubs over here serve their drinks cold, very cold. You guys must almost freeze your drinks or something if they are warm by your standards.

As for the electrical devices, can't you just buy a travel adapter? Undecided

Still don't understand what's wrong with the Brtish electrical system. Whether I am in the UK or Germany, I plug an electrical appliance in and it works. All electrical appliances should now work all over Europe due to EU regulations.

As for beer, the colder it is the less you can taste it. Which makes sense for American beer.

I hate how Israel is filled with jews.

too far...?
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.

It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.

Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

Ah yes, the good old EU making the world a better place.

That was not sarcasm. The EU is great.

That is strange, maybe try a different brand or something?

They have always worked perfectly for me abroad.

For me

The U.K- (at least for now)
Warm beer WTF
Your electrical system seriously

Australia
Your too freaking hot
And what hell possessed you to unleash poisonous toads in place were everything that will  kill you already lives

France
Leave the frogs alone
Why snails ?

Turkey
Why the fuck are you voting for dictatorship

Russia
Why are you sticking with semi dictatorship

(I'll keep adding but these are the ones that first come to mind)

We brought the cane toads in to get rid of the cane beetle.
Where I grew up in Mackay we had an abundance of both. They seem to ignore each other.
From what I've witnessed with dogs, if you consume a cane toads poison, you will die a most excruciatingly painful and slow death.

Just thought I'd add that many a time I've been to a Pom's house and been handed a beer straight from the cupboard.
True story.
I don't know about their electrical systems but I do know that a lot of places I went to in Asia had Pommy hot water systems and they were all shithouse. :-)

And yes, embarrassing lapdogs we are at times. :-)

For the electricity it's simply a fact that every time I bring a North America device to Europe I get issues and not just me quite a few of my colleagues get the same problem even with adaptors

As for beer yeah American beer has little taste it,s water . Canadian beer on the other hand at least to me (and most people I know) only tastes better colder. Don't know why it just does.

Well all I can say is if ice cold is warm to you there's something wrong with you. You may want to get that checked.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
