I disagree. We will have to leave it at that.

And people, young and old still keep dying. The Church of the Gun is as bad as the Catholic Church.

To be fair, in the US, it's the church of "shut up about your depression", not so much "the church of the gun". Omitting that portion, our gun deaths per capita per gun are comparable to any other developed country.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You don't see the problem. 600,000,000 guns, 300,000,000 people. Most people don't own one gun. That means some people have way to many.

As for your guns, nobody's died by them yet. You can't guarantee they won't. You take them out of the safe you can't guarantee you'll still have them tomorrow. If you say you don't care I'll save that for the record. I have a whole lot of similar pronouncements. Makes for convincing evidence.

Most "gun households" are multigun households.  I'm representative, I have a few.  They all do ever so slightly different things.  My guns, also, have never killed anyone..and there's no reason to suspect that my (or Kusa's) guns ever will, since the crushing majority of guns never do kill anyone even when the owner is a complete and utter dunce.

The stats tell us that even though Kusa imagines some home defender scenario..he will either a: not act as he thinks he will, b-not have access to his firearm, or c, not reach for his firearm even though he has access. The implied "what if" scenario that exists to serve an imaginary threat is, itself, imaginary.

Do you store your guns in a safe? Do you carry them outside the home?

Not yet, but they are dying from your voting habits collectively. You keep making this about you, when there is a long term collective voting habit in a larger sample rate.

Again, your ATTITUDE about "me me me me and selfish sense of entitlement and "just because".

Muslims are certainly entitled to their beliefs, and they love weapons too.

Not ever, Brian.  Gun's aren't, as the constant accusation implies...some kind of bomb quietly ticking down to detonation.

Nope.  Ammo safes are smaller and cheaper.  My rifles are on display, their rounds are locked away. I have a thing for pretty guns. If I had an ar15 I might keep it in a safe...but only because those things are ugly. Wink

Not often, but yeah, sure.  Gotta get em from the closet to the range.

I wish people would fucking stop making it about "me" and look at the larger long term picture.

The majority of guns don't have to kill anyone because guns are OBJECTS. But if there is a flooded market and that creates more opportunity for just enough guns to be used by people in mass to cause problems.

Just like the stupid argument Muslims make "not all Muslims", which is a correct statement because MOST MUSLIMS are not terrorists, but in the east, their is a theocratic mindset that is just big enough to cause problems.

If anyone is playing into the bullshit of an "imaginary threat" it would be right wing blind worship of firearms. Nobody on the left I would consider sane wants to ban every single firearm. Just like no liberal Muslim should say that Trump's bullshit ban on Muslims is correct. That still would not negate the collective mindset of those who are the minority causing problems for their own majority.

It is all in your head if you think banning big clips or spray riffles will be the end to all firearms. It is all in your head if you stupidly assume no liberals own firearms.

Again, you need food, you want caviar. You need a car, you want a Lamborghini.

You have a right to be a Muslim, you don't have the right to assault people who criticize Islam.

You have a right to firearms, you dont have a right to a free for all with no regulations.

In western society you you either value voting or you dont. If you value voting that means long term, sometimes you dont get everything you want. If you cannot accept compromise then don't claim you value western pluralism.

You can't guarantee that nobody will die from you being behind the wheel of a car. Will you stop driving?
