 I was born in Greenville,SC. Now live in east Tennessee. I'm going to Sylva, NC to stay with my cousin, we'll get about 1min. and 45sec. of totality. Sylva isn't that far from Greenville, if you've never been to Greenville you're in for a treat a very beautiful area. If I could afford it I would move back now that I'm retired.

NeDOT seems to feel I-80 and N-S roads south of Omaha and Lincoln will be jammed. My "Go west, go far far west and go early early early" plan is seeming more viable.

Now, if the weather would just fucking cooperate.

I noted yesterday mid morning it was spectacular viewing conditions, and by 1PM it was broken cloud deck again.

I've been watching KETV, WOWT and KMTV coverage. They are having daily updates. Nebraska State Patrol drawing on experience of moving 100,000 people to home Nebraska Husker games, but anticipate eclipse will be bigger.

Just got an email from Amazon stating that the glasses I bought were fake. Son of a bitch!

Nebraska is serious about hiways that day. Construction projects have been suspended, no lane closures, and oversize loads prohibited. It will help a little, but maybe they should be stressing carpooling ??
