Please explain to me the harm in believing in God? This kid felt his life didn't matter and wanted to die to see what happens, and he has become a generally happier person since then after believing in God. EVEN IF God wasn't real, could you deny that his belief in God is harmful?

Who's shunned you for your differing opinion?  Yet another boilerplate provocation. If you want to engage, do so, but ticking off the list of internet believer straw isn't engagement. More an inventory of useless goods. I love how you managed to tie in a swipe at the DNC, though...at least that much is good-script.

We all have differing opinions, particularly on the "god" issue. We spend plenty of time hashing out our differing opinions.....and I'm only talking about the disagreements between atheists, in this.

ok, I am sure there is a more peaceful way to do this then. If we are all tolerant of each other, then why is this happening?

None of this is worth it. We managed to fill 13 pages, and I am not sure why. It is just an hour of all of our lives we won't get back. The last thing we need is for this to escalate anymore.
