Is a fetus a person? Unless it can survive outside the womb, I'd say no. Then again, I'm a guy who writes code, not a doctor/scientist, so maybe my idea is wrong.

Also note, that, again, I'm not in favor of late term abortions unless there's a medical emergency, so I really have no idea why he's going on and on about fetuses anyway. A zygote isn't a fetus. Nor are any of the other stages leading up to embryo.

EDIT: other atheists may disagree with me. We're not a hive mind, even though most of us tend towards secular humanism, which itself tends to be liberal/progressive.

Wrong about what? I didn't say you said embryo and not fetus. I made a statement of fact about embryos. No words were put into your mouth. That doesn't even make sense.

How about YOU say whether or not you are in agreement about embryos not being people? Can we start there? It's a yes or no thing, shouldn't be too difficult if you're not evading it.
