They aren't that good at buying their preferred outcomes either, or they wouldn't need all that corporate welfare and billionaire tax relief.

Nah, they get the corporate welfare and tax relief because they are good at buying their preferred outcomes -- i.e., outsized political influence.
They get that because our government is filled with craven pieces of shit..it has nothing to do with skill.
