I was just talking to John(Rubber Ducky) on the phone relaying his picks in PM sending them to Tibs. The bittersweet part of this is my late mom would be teasing me too and loving watching me squirm at such a loss. Story of my life. My mom also sided with my x wife when we hung out together. In all seriousness, I wasn't expecting to be that close that long. But damn it, the Redskins are like that shy nerd at the bar, doesn't think he has a shot, asks the pretty lady if she wants a drink, then when she says yes to go home with him, he spills his drink on her, vomits and knocks over a table right after she says yes.

I am not kidding. I'd rather be like Browns always at the bottom, or always like the Patriots at the top. The in between crap gives me heart attacks. Suck big or win big. I'd prefer being the Skins of the 80s certainly, but damn it, I really hate the dick tease team they have become, giving me hope only to have the tire go flat late in the game.

I hate that he throws interceptions. But he isn't my biggest problem.

We have not had all sides of the ball firing consistently since Danny bought the team. You look at our glory decade, we made 4 Superbowls and won three and made the playoffs between 81 and 92 with  the exception of a few years. And we had a different quarterback besides Theisman in the Miami win, and Raiders loss the next year. We won with Ripien(sp) and Williams. 

It is called a team sport for a reason. RG I thought since Danny bought the team was really our best hope. But he had no protection, couldn't stay in the pocket and played running back far too much. 

If you are a team that makes the playoffs every year, even if you don't go to the Superbowl what you have is CONSISTENCY  on all sides of the ball, offense, defense and special teams. And you also have back up players who are just as good as the starters if they get injured.

Point being, bad management has been our problem since 92. We've had great individual players, and we can put up great stats even in a loss, but it still is a "W" vs "L" sport. 

We have been spotty ever since Danny bought the team.

I don't hate them, but the repetition gets over done. Lets both admit, we love it when we are on top year after year, but when not on top, we root for the underdog.

Not even being a Seahawks fan or Falcons fan, both of those losses pissed me off. The Seahawks for going to a pass play up the center and the Falcons for blowing such a lead.

I had lots of empathy for the Pats in the 80s and 90s, but not now. I like to see new people win when the Skins don't make the playoffs.

So no I will not joint the Dark Side..........

Holy crap, I just checked, looks like almost everyone picked the same teams. That means most of us will do well, or we will all suck this week.

There was one I picked but was glad they lost, and one I picked that won but was afraid they's lose.

I picked the Cowboys, but they lost, fine with that. Picked the Redskins fearing they would blow it but they didn't this time.

Problem is, Skins play in Dallas next week and they are going to be pissed.
