Funny thing about bad shit that's best left long forgotten - there's always a person on the end of it, who has actually been through the bad shit, and would most likely - and I'm just going to take a fucking stab in the dark here - would prefer not to be the centrepiece of idle gossip and whisperings. People are weird like that, something about trying to leave the past behind and move forward and not have to be nearly constantly reminded of it every time they come to a place they should thoroughly enjoy visiting. Fuck it, what do I know?

Funny thing about what's happening here is that no one is trying to have a chinwag. They're trying to clarify a situation without disclosing any information. One person let slip that there was a creepier incident, which there was. In the interest of putting people at ease, and hopefully reassuring them that the staff of this forum have people's backs, I clarified that their most nefarious thoughts are not what happened. Moreover, how can a person who doesn't even visit this forum be nearly constantly reminded of something that happened every time they come here from half a page in a deep thread? Finally, I'm not sure you're even talking about the same fucking thing, since you weren't on staff when it happened. I only know about it because I had to deal with it in my personal life. You don't have any reason to be a condescending dick, since no one has disclosed a single detail about what happened. Enjoy your fucking day too, mate. I'm sure this won't be the most interesting part of mine.

It's not about what happened. It's about people talking about what happened. What happened wasn't the bad part. The bad part is when you don't tell anybody but everybody's sorry for you. That's what the nightmares are about. That's the humiliating and blood curdling part. And that's why I leave every time.
And the only reason he's mad is because I'm really mad. Anyway. How about end of topic. And how about I decide about that this time.

"Every time." This is the first ever time I've ever seen this mentioned in the forum. Nobody's told anybody anything about anything at all. We made it abundantly clear that no one is allowed to, so maybe e'erbody's mad for no reason. Nobody is sorry for anybody because nobody knows anything, and wouldn't if people wouldn't disclose any information. Given that is the case, there was no call for that angry post from him at all.
