If that makes "logical sense", then wouldn't it also makes sense, that giving a mentally ill person a book, that says demons are real would "f*ck them up even more"? Do you think the Bible should be kept away from schizophrenics?

Some studies say that 88% of porn depicts violence against women. The problem with such a study is... how it defines violence. Another study done said only around 2% of porn depicts non-consensual violence (IE Violence where the other person is actively trying to avoid the experience, rather than smiling and enjoying it).
If porn were such a problem, after the advent of the internet you'd expect sexual assaults to have increased. Instead they've declined. It's not just in the US either, but other places saw similar decreases after legalizing pornography.
I'd say most people aren't attracted to non-consensual violence (which is why it's such a minority of porn in the first place). But spanking someone who enjoys it, and spanking someone who doesn't are two very different things. Indeed this is no reflected in crime statistics

I think demons are real.

I think demons are real.
And some people believe, that women are sexual objects. So if you get to tell people that voices in their head might be real, even though that can worsen their potentially dangerous condition, why can't misogynists indulge their fantasies, disregarding the potential harm it may cause to some individuals?

But believing women are sexual objects can lead to treating women like they are sexual objects. A little different from believing in the spiritual realm.
In my lifetime of being Christian, I was never told voices in people's head might be real lol.

Religious delusions aren't generally one of my things, but many schizophrenics do have to stay away from religion because they have powerful religious delusions.

Believing demons exist, and believing mentally ill people are possessed by demons, are 2 different things.
The correct comparison would be: people who think the mentally ill are demons, and people who think women are objects.
...NOT people who think demons exist, and people who think women are objects.
If someone believes mentally ill folks are demons, you would be correct to say it can lead that person to treating mentally ill people like demons. Just as believing women are sex objects can lead to treating them as such.

Both men and women are sexual *beings*. Both can 'use' the other for sex and *also* regard the other as people. Both can have their fantasies that are completely unrealistic.
For some people, sexuality and power are deeply linked. For others, they are not. For some, sex is just an act like any other. For others, it's only with certain people. For some, porn can enhance a relationship. For others, it pushes people away.
And yes, religion is *at least* as dangerous as porn. It isn't from porn that you get people flying air planes into buildings. It isn't from porn that you get sectarian killings and bigotry. it isn't because of porn that you have parents denying medical treatments to children.
But, like almost any human endeavor, there are those who should not partake of porn. It can mess a vulnerable person up. But so can alcohol, gambling, dieting, or religion.

Violent rapey porn doesn't "tell" anyone anything, neither did I claim It did. From what it sounds like, I would assume this type of violent porn depicts women getting abused and assaulted. I'm still unclear as to what your actual position is. Do you think watching this type of thing would prevent a person with sexually violent tendencies from rape? Because thats what im arguing against. If you agree with that, then we are in agreement. I'm still unsure what your position on this is.
