Deciding 2 B or not 2 B a xtian isn't anything I give much thought about.  Rather, I'm just not that and when I consider the possibility of alternative realities going by the description of 'supernatural' my only response is "you've got to be kidding?"

If God could be something natural then I could give it more consideration.  But since no one seems to have that in mind, I'll pass.

But I haven't read any other responses in this thread yet.  How you doing, noob?  Still having trouble imagining how anyone could choose to be different from yourself?  Hope you're having a good time anyhow.

It would allow theists to claim logical support for believing G is
as long as they support it with the logical rational reason that G is .

But if that is all it take to support a reason by As, then A's  have sufficient  E to become a theist."

"logical rational reason that G is".   Ah, but that's precisely the problem.  It's neither logical nor rational to believe in something when
there has been no evidence found for thousands of years that this thing actually exists.

Present clear scientific evidence that your imaginary friend actually exists, and yes, A's will accept the evidence presented.
The burden of proof is upon the person who is making the claims that this creature exists.

Chop chop troll.  Get to it.  Provide the evidence.  (Obviously, do so without any personal anecdotes or quotes from literature.)

If it is not your claim: "I don't have a rational excuse for my belief, and you don't either!" then consider it retracted.

I don't see away to edit the post you considered  a lie any more , but I would agree for moderators to tag  #179  a  retraction.

My phrasing was ambiguous, and I accept your retraction.  This is how I intended it to be read:

"I (generic religious person) don't have a rational excuse for my belief, and you (generic atheist) don't either!"

It's a spin on a very common apologetic trope, "It takes more faith to be an atheist."

Non-belief is always the default as people aren't born believing in X-rays or anything else.

Perhaps their own existence... but perceiving of something isn't the same as conceiving it. Babies have perceptions... but do they have conceptions? Not sure if it's accurate to say that a newborn believes anything.

As long as it isn't nonbeliefism.

You-tooism is so tedious. It would be tedious even if it were true...which it rarely is.

Unfortunately, no one wants to hear the truth anymore.

Sure I'm enjoying to see how people are here.

Most responses seem to be along the lines of assertions; I'm an A because I'm an A or I'm an A because there is not Evidence for E.
But without any logical support for them.

It would be like if a Theist came and said I'm a Theist because I'm a Theist or I m a Theist because I have only seen the totaly persuasive evidence for the existence of G.

And if you asked for logical reasonable reason for why  the Theist said well that's what a Theist is.

Kinda that is what I have been getting. My favorite post so far is this one because it was a forthright answer:

Abaddon_ire
A: My logical rational reason for being an A is there is no evidence for ANY of the thousands of claimed "gods". Not one.
And that is supported by the logical rational reason of there is no evidence for ANY of the thousands of claimed "gods". Not one.
