^ Exactly This. ^

Some of you need to stop indulging, enabling and babying the little prick. In the long run you're not helping him.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

While I agree that Hammy was 100% wrong in what he said to ShellB (and just so you guys know, Hamz is my friend and I just finished chastising him for it) I do think a lot of people knowingly misunderstand and misrepresent him to the community. He may write text walls, but anyone who bothers to read them can see his is neither rambling, nor incoherent.

^I don't know enough about Autism. But there is a saying in Islam to make "70" excuses for your brother before concluding anything.

I think a lot of that wisdom applies here. We don't know what's going on in his life, if he is successful in life or not, and whether he has vested emotion into Atheist forums and people here too much not of malice but ignorance.

Anyways, may God guide him towards himself so he depends on him and doesn't depend on others, and seeks his pleasure and not the pleasure of others.

Rambling  maybe, but incoherent not at all.

I certainly know enough about him that he would be offended about you offering a fake god's guidance toward him.  Please, keep that out of any kind of sympathy or empathy toward any of us.  Please.

You'd be surprised about what I know.

Kit, you keep deceiving yourself and be deceived by others.

There is only one vision that defines us, and it's God.

One thing that Hammy said a while back was, 'meet one person with Autism and you've met one person with Autism'.
This is true and it's the high functioning people who'll trick you into forgetting they have a disorder until they suddenly make you remember that they do.
Acknowledging certain behaviours is not the same as excusing them.
One of the biggest behaviour indicators for me with Hammy is that he doesn't get jokes or sarcasm very well.
It's unfortunate, but this forum is not a mental health facility, no matter how understanding a lot of the people here are.

I agree with you. It's why I always tried to be more patient with him than with most other people.

But something drastically changed with Hammy when he got his diagnosis. It's like it gave him license to intentionally ignore the social cues that he does recognize. Bring it up and you get a three page DM diatribe saying how you're an asshole and fuck you and good riddance and everyone who agrees with me is wrong and fuck them too.

Maybe he needs to hit rock bottom before he's going to be able to self evaluate.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
