He’s also quick to criticize and provoke, so I’m not spending another several years giving him extra consideration.

I agree.  It's why I didn't trust him entirely.  It was so out of sync as to be made-up rather than sincere.

Especially given the drastic change regarding social interactions recently, like acting like he didn’t understand everyday social cues or lacks emotions like anger about interactions here when he clearly gets super pissed all the time. It was finally too much. I couldn’t stand one more thread about his personality, his mental health, his high perception of his supposed ability to spot logical fallacies while the rest of us peons struggled.

Fuck, I said I wasn’t going to do this while he wasn’t here to defend himself. I shouldn’t, but it feels good not to get a five-page rebuttal that reads “blah, blah, I am awesome, you clearly misunderstood me.”

Usually only people with mental health disorders pretend to have mental health disorders.
One thing that Hammy said a while back was, 'meet one person with Autism and you've met one person with Autism'.
This is true and it's the high functioning people who'll trick you into forgetting they have a disorder until they suddenly make you remember that they do.
Acknowledging certain behaviours is not the same as excusing them.
One of the biggest behaviour indicators for me with Hammy is that he doesn't get jokes or sarcasm very well.
It's unfortunate, but this forum is not a mental health facility, no matter how understanding a lot of the people here are.

Also, his obsessive/compulsive type personality. Definitely a trait that is common in autism. When someone provokes him, it's harder for him to remain composed or just let it go than it is for the average neuro typical person.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Hammy, try to learn, adapt, and improve. Forget what people think of you by remembering the only vision that defines the true you as you are. In that lies both the proof of God and your source of peace. Wishing you well.

Most of the time, he seemed too composed.

Honestly, one on that far of the spectrum wouldn't be posting a wall of text as he did.

This whole thing is just sad. I've been having problems with EP for months. I've also held a lot back. But it's honestly, about time that other people started speaking up about the kinds of crap they too have had to put up with where he's concerned. I am so sick and tired of hearing him say that everyone else is wrong and that he's "brutally honest". He wouldn't know brutally honest if it bit him in the nuts.

I'm glad he's gone. And maybe it's mean of me to say this, but I don't care now. I hope he lurks as a guest so that he can see the sort of aftermath he's left behind. I've had more than my fair share of people talk to me outside of the forums about how selfish, frustrating, irritating and narcissistic he is. It is absolutely infuriating to watch someone use a diagnosis as a scapegoat, whine because no one agrees with him, insult those people and then act all mad when he got called out on it. He literally went off the rails a month ago because two posts of mine, in which I thought he crossed a line, got kudosed. I mean seriously? Who the fuck behaves that way? This latest round of crap with acting like he never does anything wrong or never starts anything? How utterly disingenuous and pathetic does someone have to get?

And I'm glad other people were able to speak up about his fucking over the top drama and put into words here in the last few pages, what I could not. It's about damn fucking time.
