Atheism
This is for those who always assert atheism is something it isn't.

Atheists however assert a lot of things all the time. And when they do, isn’t it easonable to ask why they believe that?

Stating that you have no evidence for your bullshit is not an assertion.  It is a fact.  When you can find some evidence* then you can dispute the point.

*  Your fucking bible is not "evidence."

No we don't as Atheists

Quote:That is an assertion.
No it's not .not accepting your religious claims is not an assertion . Nice try trying to make atheism a positive belief when it's anything but .

This meme is the truth the whole truth and the sole truth of atheism and no amount of ploys by theists will change it .

Individual atheists may make assertions. But there is nothing in atheism itself that requires assertions.

Atheism is nothing more than not being convinced by the case that theist have presented to support the existence of their gods.

No assertions necessary.

There may be individual atheists that go a step further, and assert that gods do not exist. Then it is up to them to support their case.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

The more I see the suffix "ism" attached to the word "atheist" the more I cringe.

"off" is not an "ism" anymore than bald is a hair color, anymore than not collecting stamps is a hobby.
