Passive/ aggressive holiday greetings

Passive/ aggressive holiday greetings
I always like winding people up, over their passionate, albiet enforced holiday cheer.

Just for fun - say " Happy Christmas, and Merry New Year"...

They can't do it. Christmas must be merry, and New Years happy.

And a few months down the road - Merry Easter - really breaks their eggs.

...

Fun is, where you find it.

I do occasionally say “happy holidays” just to make people feel scandalized. I shouldn’t try to wind people up, but it makes the holidays a little better for me

Sorry, this isn't a "both sides do it" thing. Right wing Christians cant stand that other people exist. I always say "Happy Holidays". No, I don't give a fuck if someone is offended if I don't say "Merry Christmas." I don't celebrate magic babies. You can if you want to. But me, I am spending m day eating Chinese food, drinking beer, and being thankful I am not in debt.

Someone says Merry Christmas, I say Merry Christmas back. They say Happy Holidays, I say Happy Holidays back, otherwise I just say hello & goodbye.

But... you get people like a guy that I work with, that really insists that you have to always say Merry Christmas, then you're gonna get me making comments like "look at how nicely they've decorated the festive holiday trees in the show room this year", and then grab some popcorn and watch the rant 'til smoke starts coming out of his ears.

Fuck it. I'm no purist, I have no soul, and my virginity is long gone. Merry Christmas if it floats your boat and fuck all the drama.

I've been buying my ones from https://www.thortful.com/occasions/Christmas?t=rude

I've just written 'Adolf the red nosed reindeer' one for my parents. Last year it was Santa telling some children to fuck off.
