A set S is composed of 20 multi-colored objects

A set S is composed of 20 multi-colored objects
I have a probability question that I need to solve:

A set S is composed of 20 multi-colored objects. 4 objects were chosen randomly from S.
What is the probability that 3 of the chosen objects be blue; knowing that there are 8 blue objects in S ?

So, I don't need hell loads of math theory. I only want steps for a solution and I'll be thankful.
Please help me.

(8/20) x (7/19) x (6/18)

(8/20) x (7/19) x (6/18)

p = (8/20) x (7/19) x (6/18) x (5/17) x 4!

No, that last bit isn't punctuation.

Dood. You have to bang your head against the math yourself, if you truly want to understand the answer. You've seen more than one answer here, and I'm not going to tell you which one is correct.  Hmph

I'm going to assume that the guy picking is color blind.

Exactly three? Or at least three?

42! (The exclamation point is punctuation)

Exactly three? Or at least three?

It's an important question.

Assuming that it is exactly three blue out of four drawn. then there are five possible results.

If there are 8 blues, then there are 12 "not blues" The number of alternate colours is irellevant.

Then the possible results are...

Blue, blue, blue, blue.
"not blue", blue, blue, blue.
Blue, "not blue", blue, blue.
Blue, blue, "not blue", blue.
Blue, blue, blue, "not blue".

From there it is mere arithmetic.

Not even going to bother doing 11th grade homework for you pig, that claimed to know CS. Do your own work you unhinged piece of shit. Probabilities is one of the easier disciplines in mathemathics. Find a noose, wrap it around your neck and hang tight on the ceiling as you are a fail as a mathematitian and as a human being. Or set youself on fire. I couldn't care less.

There are three types of people: those you can count, and those who can't.

Probabilities are all about counting.

OK, steps for a solution:

1. Determine how many ways there are for picking out three blue objects.
2. Determine how many different ways there are to pick out four objects.
3. Divide the result from 1 by the result from 2.
