Christians pray evil away on the winter solstice.

Christians pray evil away on the winter solstice.
A ragtag brigade of Christian cultists overseen by a former youth football coach traveled to Southern Ohio's Serpent Mount Native American burial site Sunday, hoping their prayer might prevent unspecified dark energy from being unleashed upon the world.

The youtube video is the best.

I cannot begin to express my relief that evil is gone from the world. Really - I can’t.

My favorite part of the article:

A typical Ohio Sunday, in other words.

It never ceases to amaze me the sheer ignorance of their own religion among Christians. Prayer works through God and God is everywhere. Wtf?

Are these some of the same loonies who claim that giant human skeletons have been discovered at these mound sites?

The reactions of all the dead Native Americans who were buried on that mound:

Before I read the article I was getting a picture of "coach" Dave Daubenmire in my mind. The little grey cells are still working.

Oh and bearded idiot pushing and bullying the native American man asserting his right to refuse entry to private property should have the shit kicked out of him with steel toecaps, and then done for assault and forced to repay for the cost of having to buy new boots after contaminating them.

That's why I never understood the need to go to a special building to talk to the magic sky fairy. (besides, he's all knowing, so he knows what you want to say to him already)

That's where you give the fat priests the money, and your children. The latter is far more horrifying than simply giving food money to a lazy unemployed get who figured out a scam early on.
