Ok computer techs, what say you?
Suddenly I could not access Facebook, it gives me "site cannot be reached". But I can still access this site, and Twitter and Google. Is it on my end or theirs?

I don't know how to do a screenshot, but it says "site cannot be reached" then follows up with something like "did you spell it right?" then asks you if you want to run windows connectivity diagnostics.

Seriously? It really is? Nice to know that a billionaire can trip over his own feet.

It appears to have started 11:45 a.m. ET. Every Facebook-owned app appears to be down in a widespread outage

Oh really? I have been out on the road so have not had the chance to check. Currently cooking dinner, food comes first. Is it a concerted attack or something other?

Holy fuck. I do know large social media companies have gone down before, but considering your report here, I have never heard of it taking that long to fix the problem

It is funny, but my local cable company is famous for having outages, mostly brief, but just about every month, or every other month. Proof that just because you run or own a big company, you are not immune to disruptions.

I cannot tell you how many times since 07 since I have lived in this location, where I am at now, that my cable and internet suddenly craps out, and then I call in wondering if I paid my bill on time.

See, there's the difference. You are comparing local service provides with a worldwide one.
