Where is Gabby Petito?
RE: Where is Gabby Petito?
Remains confirmed to be Brian's. After the first week or so, I was guessing he had committed suicide out of guilt. Of course only an autopsy will tell. We may never know, considering he was in a swamp everglades environment.

The swamp makes you unidentifiable, except thru dental records, after 1 month. Good to know!
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

almost certainly still identifiable through DNA matching.   Chances are the state of the corpse was the result of scavenging.

Even when you're buried in a coffin, the body becomes fairly unrecognizable after just 8-10 days. By the end of a month, pretty much all flesh will be gone. The process is likely faster when not protected from the elements / wild animals.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I saw an article before Gabby's cause of death came out, where an expert watching the police stop said he saw body language signs that she had been strangled in that encounter, and that the cause of death was going to be strangulation.

It turned out he was right. It is likely that Laundrie strangled her multiple times, and this time he went to far and killed her. Then, he eventually killed himself.

Nope, I think just psychotic need for control (although there is a chance he got a thrill out of it too).

Only 8-10 days?  I didn't know that. Doesn't matter, I have phobia about being buried alive, so I'm being cremated and scattered in a garden***

Saw this clip just yesterday about why Prince Philip and Princess Diana were buried in lead lined coffins. Seems it's a royal tradition because the lead lining slows decomposition. Seems Diana was buried that way out of respect . Right. Pity that shower called the British Royal family didn't show her more respect while she was alive.

***My  brother's lovely wife is a funeral director. I once mentioned my fear of being buried alive. She told me not to worry about it because " If you're not dead when we get you, you bloody well are by the time we're finished with you"

Sounds a bit like it. Or the poor girl was the victim of an especially sadistic kind of domestic violence. It's very sad no matter how I look at it.

I really want to understand how the cops mistook Brian Laundrie's mother for him...he was bald with a beard in the pictures I have seen. Mom had hair and no beard...at least not one that I could detect in photos and videos.

Could be an explanation.
