The Official Television Thread
RE: Otter's Official Television Thread
Yesterday I rediscovered a series I really like ;'Lie To Me', starring Tim Roth. They only made three seasons, which is a pity.

Lie to Me (stylized as Lie to me*) is an American crime drama television series. It originally ran on the Fox network from January 21, 2009, to January 31, 2011. In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and his colleagues in The Lightman Group accept assignments from third parties (commonly local and federal law enforcement), and assist in investigations, reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions, through the Facial Action Coding System, and body language.[3] In May 2009, the show was renewed for a second season consisting of 13 episodes;[4] season two premiered on September 28, 2009.[5] On November 24, 2009, Fox ordered an extra nine episodes for season two, bringing the season order to 22 episodes.[6]

Watching The Beatles: Get Back on Disney Plus. I'm only on Part 1 so far. Long road to travel before I write a big review of it for Anglotopia.

Also watching Orange is the New Black on DVD. And I just saw this episode:

Also found out that Utopia is on Amazon Prime after Hannah Reloaded reminded me that it exists:

I love that show. What's preventing you from getting into it?

When I was 16 I thought The Beatles were the shit.

I remember the first time I heard them, and where. Of going to the record shop for a mate to pick up Sgt Pepper. Then back to his place where we listened to it for the entire afternoon. We thought it was magic.  Thought John Lennon was a genius and bought and devoured his two Books; "In his Own Write", and "A Spaniard In The Works".

Today; Meh. I'm over The Beatles.

Given my druthers, I'd druther  listen to the late Great Anita O'Day (1919-2006) The clip linked below is of Anita in her prime, at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival

Started watching ‘Fugget About It’, a Canadian animated series about a mafia family in witness protection. Kinda cute, so far.

Mostly I think it's that I am not a big fan of shows that are heavily narrated.

I really wanted to like that one. I think they tried too hard.
