Oh, this my favorite. Anti-CDC conspiracy nuts using CDC-lead research on vaccines to discredit CDC research on vaccines. You can’t make this shit up. 😂
It's even funnier when one considers the lengths IA is willing to go to peddle his crap

Yeah, looking at it, here's the last paragraph before the acknowledgments (bold mine)
Quote:Vaccination protected against COVID-19 and related hospitalization, and surviving a previous infection protected against a reinfection and related hospitalization during periods of predominantly Alpha and Delta variant transmission, before the emergence of Omicron; evidence suggests decreased protection from both vaccine- and infection-induced immunity against Omicron infections, although additional protection with widespread receipt of booster COVID-19 vaccine doses is expected. Initial infection among unvaccinated persons increases risk for serious illness, hospitalization, long-term sequelae, and death; by November 30, 2021, approximately 130,781 residents of California and New York had died from COVID-19. Thus, vaccination remains the safest and primary strategy to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infections, associated complications, and onward transmission. Primary COVID-19 vaccination, additional doses, and booster doses are recommended by CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices to ensure that all eligible persons are up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which provides the most robust protection against initial infection, severe illness, hospitalization, long-term sequelae, and death.***** Additional recommendations for vaccine doses might be warranted in the future as the virus and immunity levels change.

Well, anything so IA doesn't have to acknowledge the vaccine hesitancy is stupid and irrational.

Delta infection provides great immunity from reinfection. Ya know…as long as it doesn’t kill you the first time, lol.

It's the best data we have to date, and this is coming from the CDC so you can't whine about the source this time. You were entirely wrong about this, and you were so sure of yourself. You were certain you were right. You and LadyForCamus and others were saying that there are no two sides and that anything your side disagreed with should rightly be censored. You now have egg on your face once again, which is starting to become a pretty common occurence around here, after the data has shown you to be wrong. I pointed out before how science is about robust debate, and you wanted the opposition silenced. As it turns out, once again, you, LadyForCamus, and others turned out to be the flat earthers on this issue, as the CDCs data confirms. Keep pushing for the censorship of scientists who don't share all of your views though. It never gets old seeing the data confirm you to be wrong on these issues.

The data shows that natural immunity is better than vaccination, which is a claim that you disputed not long ago. This is the best data we have to date, and it shows that your claim was incorrect. I don't care that the document calls for all people to get boosters. I only care about what the data says, which appears to be pointing at there not being much of a reason to get a booster after infection.
There doesn't appear to be any two sides in the document you provided, as rev rye quoted and bolded for you.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Have you looked at the data? We're not talking about whether getting the vaccine is safer than getting the virus, and I've never made the claim that getting the virus is safer than getting the vaccine. Right now, we're talking about the reality that getting covid gives you excellent immunity, which the CDC data confirms, and which Helios said was BS for ages, and Helios said that any scientist making that claim or suggesting that should be censored, so as it turns out, he wanted reality to be censored, because it disagreed with his political motives.

I should point out that you explicitly stated it's better, not just in this thread, but in this very page of the thread. And even when you cited a paper from the CDC, they pointed out that, even if natural immunity is fairly good, vaccination is both more effective and safer. The same damn paper that you cited.
Hell, its last sentence was, and I quote:

If it's safer to catch the virus, why did you get vaccinated?
Is it because of your comorbidity that you think is only age and weight?
